The Friends of the Lauder Business School will be Continuing from last years a lecture series to be held on campus.
We will open the new series with a lecture on January 17, 2012 by Mag. Herbert Kovar.
Mr. Herbert Kovar is a corporate international tax partner. He has many years ofexperience as an international corporate tax specialist and outstanding experience inthe area of international and national tax planning, M&A, national and internationalbusiness reorganizations and private foundations. In his capacity as an M&A specialistHerbert has worked on a significant number of global transactions including vendor andbuyer Tax Due Diligence, tax optimized acquisition structures and in supportingnegotiation of sale and purchase agreements.Prior to joining our Deloitte Vienna office in 1997, Mr. Kovar had work as AssistantProfessor at the University of Law in Vienna.Mr. Kovar published numerous publications and was speaker at various seminars andprofessional conferences.
The Topic of his lecture will be “Due Diligence of companies to be overtaken.”
